AI Consulting

AI Consulting for Software Teams

Most product and engineering
AI efforts stay fragmented.
We fix that.

We work with software teams to find where AI creates real impact, build the right systems, and ship them. Not demos. Working software.

Primary offer

The AI Opportunity
Sprint

A focused 2-week engagement that finds where AI creates real impact in your product and engineering workflows, and tells you exactly what to build first.

Most teams have more AI opportunity than bandwidth to act on it. The Sprint gives you a clear answer: here is what to build, in what order, and why. Your team can run with it, or we can build it together.

2 weeksFixed feeNo retainer required

What you get

  • Workflow mapping across your product and engineering workflows
  • 3-5 specific places where AI would have the biggest impact, ranked by effort and expected outcome
  • Prioritized build roadmap with effort and impact estimates
  • Tooling, architecture, and ownership recommendations
  • Written output you can share with leadership or use as a pilot brief

The Sprint is a low-commitment entry point. Most clients move to a pilot after, but there is no obligation.

What we do

Built for product
and engineering teams

Three practice areas. All focused on shipping AI that saves your team real time and produces output you can measure.

AI Readiness Audit

We map your current workflows, tool stack, and team structure to understand where AI integration actually helps, and where it gets in the way. You get a concrete assessment your engineering and product leadership can act on.

LLM Workflow Integration

We design and deploy AI systems directly into your product and engineering workflows: code review automation, internal knowledge retrieval, doc generation, QA tooling. Built for your stack, not a generic template.

Internal AI Tooling

We build the AI-powered internal tools your team actually needs: custom agents, event-based automations, and integrations with the systems you already run. Fast to build, easy to maintain.

Our process

How we work

01

Sprint

A focused 2-week AI Opportunity Sprint maps your workflows, finds the highest-impact things to build first, and produces a prioritized build roadmap. You leave with a clear answer on where to start and why.

02

Pilot

We take the top opportunity from the Sprint and build it. Fixed scope, clear deliverables, working software in production in 4-6 weeks. You see exactly what the system does before committing to anything broader.

03

Scale

With a working system in production, we expand the integration, add capabilities, or move to the next opportunity on your roadmap. Every new capability is scoped against what is already live, so nothing gets built in a vacuum.

Who we are

The pairing is
the product.

Fluent Agents is two people: one who runs discovery, stakeholder alignment, and the client-side process, and one who owns technical architecture and implementation. That structure is intentional.

Most AI consulting fails at the handoff. The strategy doesn't reflect what's actually buildable. The engineering doesn't reflect what the business actually needs. We close that gap by keeping both sides in the same room from day one.

We work with a small number of clients at a time. We don't sell decks. We ship working systems.

Discovery & Strategy

Workflow mapping, stakeholder alignment, problem framing, and client process. We come to your team, learn how you actually work, and translate what we find into a build brief that makes sense.

Architecture & Implementation

Technical diligence, solution design, tool selection, and hands-on engineering. We build the system, not just the spec, and stay accountable through production.

“We started Fluent Agents because we kept watching capable engineering and product teams spin on AI. Smart people, real budget, genuine intent, but no clear line from curiosity to shipped system. That's the gap we work in.”

FAQ

Common
questions

Fluent Agents focuses on team-wide workflows, not individual IDE assistance: we map where your product and engineering org loses time to friction, then build AI tied to your data and processes, including custom agents, internal tooling, and LLM integrations. Copilot and simple GPT add-ons mostly help one person at a time; we target the workflows that slow the whole group down.

The AI Opportunity Sprint produces a written build roadmap: a ranked list of 3-5 AI integration opportunities across your product and engineering workflows, with effort estimates, architecture recommendations, and tooling guidance. It also includes workflow maps and ownership notes so your team can run alone or use it as the brief for a pilot with us.

An AI engineer adds build capacity but not a prioritized decision on what to build first. Larger firms often hand off after slides, which widens the gap between strategy and shipped code. Fluent Agents keeps discovery and implementation together so scope stays honest and what ships matches what the business needed.

We work with software companies where product and engineering own the decision. That usually means real AI budget and intent, but no reliable path from experiments to production. We are a poor fit for very early startups or teams who want a company-wide transformation program instead of a focused engagement.

Most teams move to a Pilot, a 4-6 week fixed-scope build of the top roadmap item. After that, some expand the system or take the next roadmap item. Each phase has its own scope and price, and you are never obligated to continue.

The Sprint is fixed-fee. Pilots get a fixed price, timeline, and deliverable list before work starts, grounded in the Sprint output. Scale work is milestone-based or a focused monthly retainer, aligned during the Sprint so Pilot pricing stays predictable.
